Some of these people I talk to. Most of them I only know through what they publish. Either way I keep opening it, and that is the whole test I use for this page.

• Bernard Marr

  Bernard writes about AI and the future of business for people who run companies, not for people who build models. He publishes more than anyone else I follow, and he explains each new development in plain language, which is harder than it sounds.

• Tim Cakir

  Tim is an AI transformation leader and the founder of AI Operator. He trains whole teams, so his writing is about the part most companies underestimate: getting people to change how they work, not just which tool they open.

• Ben van Sprundel

  Ben builds AI agents and shows the work, mostly without code. If you want to see what an agent workflow looks like when someone builds it in public, watch him do it.

• Justin Welsh

  Justin runs a one-person business and writes one essay every Saturday, for people who want to work on their own terms. Read him when you are working out what a team should do and what a system should do.

• Alex Hormozi

  Alex is not an AI person, which is exactly why he is on this page. He runs Acquisition.com and teaches owners how to price, sell, and grow. Read him before you decide what to automate, so the thing you automate is worth automating.

Linking out is a good habit. It costs me nothing, it sends someone to work that deserves their time, and it is how the web was built before every page started pointing back at itself.

The idea comes from slashfriends.org, a directory of pages like this one, made by Nick Gray. He is right that the web is better with friends, and he is right that most people with a website should have one of these.
